We are looking for 10 energetic and enthusiastic health promoters to serve as AmeriCorps members in nine different rural communities across Washington. In our second year teaming up with the Washington Service Corps and community leaders, we are placing members in schools, hospitals, public health, and non-profit organizations. The opportunities are both diverse and challenging—reflecting the wide range of geography, people, and cultures in Washington state, as well as local community health priorities.
Members receive $1,050/month pay, health insurance and $5,350 education award upon completion of term. Members can request loan forbearance and also can receive subsidized childcare.
Apply now at www.americorps.gov. To find these job descriptions, search within the “Health” interest and specify Washington State.
